Accendo Cellars

CA (Napa Valley), CA

Accendo Cellars, established in 2013 by Bart and Daphne Araujo and their children, Jaime and Greg, is located in Napa Valley and focuses on producing premium, limited-production wines. The Araujo family has deep roots in the area, dating back to the late 1980s, when they purchased the iconic Eisele Vineyard. In late 2023, ownership transitioned to Jaime and Greg, and by 2025, the winery was sold to a new ownership group including vintner Jack Bittner and the Bettinelli family. Accendo Cellars sources grapes from top vineyards in Napa Valley, including their own 13-acre site in Oakville. Their wine portfolio features a range of varietals, with a notable Sauvignon Blanc that reflects a blend of various vineyard sources, and a Cabernet Sauvignon that showcases fruit from several premium vineyards. The winery also produces a grappa, continuing a tradition from their previous estate. Visitor experiences at Accendo Cellars are tailored for serious wine enthusiasts, featuring personalized tastings in a welcoming environment at Wheeler Farms. The property includes biodynamic gardens and orchards, enhancing the tasting experience with fresh culinary pairings. Accendo wines are primarily available through an allocation list and selective distribution.
