ADAMVS is a winery located on Howell Mountain in Napa Valley, founded in 2008 by Denise and Stephen Adams, who previously owned Château Fonplégade in Saint-Émilion, France. The property spans 76 acres, previously home to White Cottage Ranch Winery, and features 28 acres of vineyards primarily planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, along with smaller amounts of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The vineyard practices organic and biodynamic farming, with diverse soil types and a range of elevations from 1,600 to 2,000 feet. The winery collaborates with renowned winemaker Philippe Melka, who has been involved since their first vintage in 2010. Unique fermentation techniques, including the use of a specially designed teardrop-shaped barrel, enhance their winemaking process. ADAMVS focuses on producing high-quality Cabernet Sauvignon wines, with notable labels including TÉRES, QUINTVS, and ADAMVS, each showcasing distinct characteristics and aging potential. The tasting room, designed by architect Kurt Melander, offers a creative and intimate experience, featuring natural elements and views of the surrounding landscape. Visitors can also enjoy a selection of products from the estate, including honey and olive oil.
