Amulet Estate is a 20-acre winery located in the northern Napa Valley, specifically in the Italian Valley region. The property has changed ownership several times, initially known as Dancing Hares under Robert and Paula Brooks, who developed the estate and built a winery with a cave completed in 2009. In 2016, Tuck Beckstoffer acquired the estate, renaming it Tuck Beckstoffer Estate, before it was sold to Toronto-based investors in 2020 and rebranded as Amulet Estate in 2021. The first vintage under this name was produced in 2018. The estate focuses on crafting limited production, hand-crafted varietal Cabernet Sauvignon, showcasing the diverse terroirs of Napa Valley. Following damage from the 2020 Glass Fire, the vineyards were replanted in 2021, transitioning to organic farming practices. Amulet Estate produces around 1,000 to 1,500 cases annually, including a Chardonnay from the Platt Vineyard in Sonoma County and a companion label, AE, for broader distribution. Tastings at Amulet Estate are by appointment only, offering personalized experiences led by the winemaking team, which includes an introduction to their vineyards and a tasting in the winery cave.
