Arborum Estate, located in Calistoga, Napa Valley, was established by Caren and Nick Orum, who moved to the area in 1999 after careers in finance. They purchased the historic property in 2013, which has roots dating back to the 1860s when it was owned by early Napa winemakers John and Hannah Weinberger. The estate spans 20 acres and features three vineyard blocks primarily planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, cultivated using organic and regenerative practices. The winery produces three wines annually: a Proprietary White, an Arborum Red Blend, and an estate Cabernet Sauvignon, all crafted under the guidance of winemaker Andy Erickson. The wines are noted for their balance and finesse, with the red blends showcasing rich flavors and aromatic complexity. Arborum is committed to philanthropy, donating 100% of its net proceeds to local charities, and has pledged $1 million to support vineyard workers and environmental initiatives. The winery produces around 600 cases per year, available through a membership allocation list and select restaurants. Visitors are not typically welcomed, as Arborum is a private winery.
