ARNYCA Cellars, located in Napa Valley, was established by Steve Distler and Luis Pettinato, who share a passion for wine and food. Steve, originally from New York City, moved to Napa in 2007 after being inspired by a short trip to the region. He previously worked in the wine industry, including a stint at Del Dotto Vineyards. Luis, with a background in fine dining and culinary arts, also transitioned into winemaking, having met Steve while working at O'Brien Estate. The winery focuses on limited production wines, including unique offerings such as a rosé made from Grenache, a Cabernet Franc, and an Albariño. Their 2020 ARNYCA Sparkling Wine Brut is designed for easy enjoyment, while their Cabernet Franc is a flagship wine, showcasing the complexity of the varietal. ARNYCA Cellars produces around 500 to 600 cases annually, with wines primarily sold direct to consumers. They also support charitable causes, donating a portion of proceeds to organizations benefiting the deaf community and rural development in Nicaragua.
