Bacio Divino Cellars, founded in 1993 by Claus Janzen, is located in Napa Valley, specifically high above Dutch Henry Canyon. Janzen, initially a real estate salesman in Canada, developed his passion for wine while working in Switzerland and later during his time in Provence, France. His journey to Napa began with a visit to Caymus Winery, where he worked for 12 years, gaining valuable experience in winemaking and international marketing. The winery owns 60 acres, with 10 acres planted to Cabernet Sauvignon across three vineyard sites. Bacio Divino produces a range of wines, including their flagship Bacio Divino blend, Pazzo, and vineyard-designated wines from both their estate and notable vineyards like Beckstoffer’s Georges III and To Kalon. Their wines are characterized by rich flavors and well-structured profiles, with a focus on quality and value. Tastings at Bacio Divino are available by appointment, offering a unique experience in a secluded part of Napa. The winery typically produces between 4,000 and 6,000 cases annually, with their most popular wine being the Pazzo blend.
