Reservations

Benevolent Neglect Wines, established in 2013 by Benjamin Brenner and Matt Nagy, is located in Napa Valley, California. The winery's ownership expanded in 2024 with the addition of Jeff Warren. Both Brenner and Nagy, originally from Boston, have extensive backgrounds in winemaking and hospitality, having worked with notable Napa Valley winemakers and wineries. Their wine production focuses on limited bottlings, primarily sourced from outside Napa Valley, emphasizing varietal characteristics and minimal oak influence. The winery employs a hands-off approach to winemaking, favoring minimal intervention techniques. Their offerings include a range of wines such as a Vermentino sourced from Dunnigan Hills, a Chardonnay from the Massa Vineyard, and a Counoise from Alder Springs Vineyard. The wines are characterized by their balance, bright acidity, and unique flavor profiles. Benevolent Neglect opened its tasting room in downtown Napa on October 21, 2022, where visitors can enjoy tastings led by the owners. The space accommodates both small and larger groups, with a selection of limited production wines and library vintages available for purchase.
