Bougetz Cellars, established in 2008 by Thomas Bougetz, is located in Napa Valley. Originally from Minnesota, Thomas transitioned from a career in engineering to winemaking after developing a passion for wine while working in Seattle. He gained formal training at the Northwest Wine Academy and honed his skills at Crushpad, a multi-client winery in San Francisco, where he built valuable relationships with vineyard sources across Napa Valley. The winery focuses on producing high-quality wines from premium vineyard sites, including Coombsville and Mt. Veeder. Bougetz Cellars offers a variety of wines, including Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and proprietary blends like Jovana, which features Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The wines have garnered positive reviews and high scores, helping the winery gain recognition despite being a newer producer. Visitors can now taste Bougetz wines at their tasting room located at 1001 Silverado Trail, which has been recently remodeled to enhance the visitor experience. The space includes outdoor seating and a bocce ball court, providing a welcoming atmosphere for wine enthusiasts. Production has grown from 50 cases in its inaugural year to approximately 1,500 cases annually.
