Brasswood Cellars, located just north of St. Helena, was formerly known as Cairdean Estate and occupies a renovated shopping center. Founded by Edwin and Stacia Williams, the winery features a modern facility completed in 2015, including a 17,000 square foot cave. The couple's journey into winemaking began with Stacia's interest in wine while working on the East Coast, leading her to study Enology and Viticulture at Fresno State. The winery offers a diverse range of wines, focusing on those meant to age and pair well with food. Brasswood Cellars owns three vineyards, including the 10-acre Brassrock Vineyard in Coombsville. Their wine offerings include a balanced Carneros Chardonnay, a vibrant Russian River Pinot Noir, and a medium to dark ruby Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon from their Coombsville estate. Visitors can enjoy tastings in one of four tasting rooms, including a sensory room that enhances the tasting experience with aromas representing various wine characteristics. Brasswood Bar + Kitchen provides a gastro pub experience with a menu crafted by a chef with Michelin-star experience, while Brasswood Bar + Bakery serves fresh pastries and deli items. The property also features unique spaces for events and a shop offering curated products.
