The Bravantes have a background in real estate and agriculture, operating Bravante Produce in Reedley, California, since 1992. They began their winemaking journey in 1995, with their first releases in 2000, focusing on Bordeaux varieties and Sauvignon Blanc from their estate vineyards. The winery's primary property, Stone Ridge Vineyard, spans 20 acres with 10 acres planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. Their second property, Black Oak Vineyard, features a rare Sauvignon Blanc clone and other red varieties. The winery emphasizes estate-grown grapes and often ages its wines longer than typical for the region. Bravante Vineyards offers personalized tastings by appointment in a small hospitality cave, providing an intimate experience for visitors.
