Bremer Family Winery is a historic winery situated on Deer Park Road near Howell Mountain in Napa Valley. Established in 2002 by John and Laura Bremer, the winery is located on a property that dates back to 1891, originally known as Sutter Home, and has undergone several ownership changes over the years. The Bremers, who were frequent visitors to Napa Valley, transformed the site into Bremer Family Winery, producing between 3,000 and 4,000 cases annually. The winery features a unique wine cave, built to aid in aging wines, and offers a picturesque tasting experience with options both inside the cellar and outdoors under oak trees. The wines are handcrafted, with a focus on patience in the aging process, often spending up to 30 months in barrels. The portfolio includes a variety of wines, such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, and Chardonnay, which are known for their balance and approachability. Visitors can enjoy a casual and personalized tasting experience, often accompanied by the winemaker, Bob Boland, who has been with the winery since its inception. Bremer Family Winery is also part of the newly approved Crystal Springs sub-appellation within Napa Valley.
