Đồi Đá Winery, founded in 2022, is situated on an 18-acre rocky site in Napa Valley, just east of Signorello Vineyards. Owned by the Pham family, who purchased the property in late 2021, the winery's name translates to "stony hill" in Vietnamese, reflecting the unique terroir. The vineyard, which had not been previously planted, was established in 2024 under the guidance of winemaker Nova Cadamatre, featuring a variety of Cabernet Sauvignon clones and additional plantings of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The winery's first vintage is expected in 2027 or 2028, with initial wines showcasing a balanced and elegant style. The 2023 Đồi Đá Cabernet Sauvignon is noted for its bright, fresh flavors and minerality, while the 2022 vintage combines fruitiness with herbal notes, making it food-friendly. The Pham family's connection to Napa extends beyond winemaking; Cuong Pham, a former IT consultant, also founded Red Boat Fish Sauce, which emphasizes quality and tradition. Currently, the wines are produced at a facility in Calistoga, as Đồi Đá does not have its own winery on-site.
