Carte Blanche

Carte Blanche Wine, founded and owned by Nicholas Allen, began its journey in 2008 with winemaker Luc Morlet crafting the wines until 2013. Nicholas developed his passion for wine during college and has a deep connection to his family's history, particularly through his grandmother, who inspired the brand's red wax seal logo. The winery focuses on creating balanced wines that reflect the terroir of carefully selected vineyard sites in Northern California. The wine portfolio includes a range of whites and reds, with notable offerings like the 2021 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay and the 2021 Pinot Noir from Sun Chase Vineyard. The Chardonnay showcases rich flavors and a creamy texture, while the Pinot Noir features fruit-forward aromas with a velvety mouthfeel. The winery also produces a blend called The Mark, which includes Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, known for its plush tannins and expressive fruit notes. Visitors can enjoy private tastings at Brasswood Winery, where the experience is enhanced by a gourmet restaurant and a variety of tasting rooms. The property spans 50 acres across two sub-appellations, providing a unique backdrop for wine enthusiasts.
