Cosentino Winery

Napa, CA

Cosentino Winery, established in 1980 by self-taught winemaker Mitch Cosentino, is located in Napa Valley. Originally from Gustine, California, Mitch transitioned from a career in broadcast communications to winemaking after discovering his passion for wine during college. He initially founded Crystal Valley Cellars in Modesto before moving operations to Napa in 1990, where he has since built and designed several wineries. In mid-2024, the winery and property were sold to Brion Wise, while the Cosentino brand was acquired by Foley Family Estates following Vintage Wine Estates' bankruptcy. Currently, there is no public tasting room, but wines are available for online purchase. Cosentino produces a diverse range of wines, including blends from Napa Valley and Lodi, with notable offerings such as "The Novelist" and "THE Zin." The winery has a history of award-winning wines and has participated in significant events, including serving wines at White House dinners. Although the winery once produced dessert wines, it now focuses on a single non-vintage red dessert wine. Visitors can explore their wine club options online for a curated experience.
