CrauforD Napa Valley, established in 1999 by Marilyn Crawford Corley, is a family-run winery located in Napa Valley. Initially, Marilyn's daughter Carolyn was involved in winemaking, but her son Chris now serves as the winemaker, while his wife Julianna manages their vineyards. The winery produces its wines at Monticello Vineyards, where Marilyn and her late husband Jay were also founders. The winery's first release was a limited Sauvignon Blanc called Highlander. Although CrauforD does not have a physical winery, it focuses on crafting premium wines, including the Kilt Lifter Zinfandel and Tattoo Cabernet Sauvignon, with reasonable pricing for Napa standards. Julianna, who has extensive experience in viticulture, also runs her own label, Jules Melange, which features unique blends and is known for its creativity. The family previously owned a 40-acre estate in the Spring Mountain Appellation, where they cultivated Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Unfortunately, the property was affected by the Glass Fire in 2020. Currently, CrauforD produces around 700 cases annually, primarily sold through their wine club and select markets.
