Oakville, CA

Detert Family Vineyards is situated on the eastern bench-land of the Mayacamas mountains in the Oakville appellation of Napa Valley. This family-run winery is operated by brothers Tom and John Garrett, alongside their partner Bill Cover. The vineyard has a rich history, with roots tracing back to the 1870s and significant ownership changes over the years, including a purchase by Hedwig Detert in 1954. Visitors to Detert Family Vineyards can expect a tasting experience that highlights the balance and varietal characteristics of their wines. The current offerings include well-regarded Cabernet Francs and Cabernet Sauvignons, showcasing a range of flavors and aging potential.
