DOGFARM Estate is a small winery located in the hills above Meadowood in Napa Valley, founded by Bridget and Gansevoort Dunnington and Katie and Russell Yates. The Dunningtons moved to their 5.6-acre property in late 2012, where they planted their vineyard in 2017 with the help of vintner Harry Parsley. The vineyard, which is 1.75 acres, is primarily dedicated to Cabernet Sauvignon and features three blocks named after their past pets. Despite challenges, including damage from the 2020 Glass Fire, the estate has adapted and thrived. DOGFARM Estate produces a range of wines, including Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Sauvignon, with a focus on balance and complexity. Their Sauvignon Blancs are noted for their aromatic profiles and bright acidity, while the Chardonnay showcases rich, layered flavors. The Cabernet Sauvignon offerings are characterized by fruit-forward profiles and well-integrated tannins. The winery's total annual production is around 1,000 cases, with limited quantities available through direct sales and local outlets. DOGFARM Estate launched in October 2023 and participates in select events, including the Aspen Food & Wine Festival.
