Eagle Eye Wine, established in 2003 by Bill and Roxanne Wolf, is located in Gordon Valley, the easternmost commercial wine producer in Napa County. The couple transitioned from previous careers to enter the wine industry, dedicating themselves to extensive education and hands-on experience in vineyards both locally and internationally. Their 13-acre property includes 9 acres of vineyards planted with select varietals like Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc, cultivated using organic practices and innovative trellising systems. The winery faced significant challenges early on, including a devastating fire in 2005 that destroyed their entire inventory. However, they persevered and now produce several red wines annually, often holding them longer than typical for Napa wineries. Their wine labels, originally inspired by Roxanne's artwork, are now distinctive and eye-catching. Eagle Eye also produces olive oil from on-site olive trees and emphasizes a visitor-friendly experience, with Bill eager to share his knowledge about vineyard management. Their wines are noted for being food-friendly and affordably priced by Napa standards.
