Eighty Four is a side-project for Elias Fernandez (right) and Doug Shafer (left) of Shafer Vineyards. it commemorates 1984, the year they started working together at Shafer Vineyards. The Eighty Four brand three varietals which don’t appear under the Shafer Vineyards label: Albariño, Malbec and Petite Sirah.
