Reservations

Elyse Winery, located just half a mile west of Highway 29 in Napa Valley, focuses on vineyard-designated red wines. Founded by self-taught winemaker Ray Coursen, who has a diverse background including military service and experience in fine wine retail, Elyse has a rich history. After years of renting space, Ray established the winery in 1997, previously home to Bernard Pradel Cellars. The winery is named after Ray and Nancy's daughter and has seen various improvements over the years. In 2018, Elyse was sold to Josh Peeples and Cheryl Foil, who have since maintained the production of Elyse wines while potentially rebranding the winery. The winery produces around 7,000 cases annually, offering a range of premium wines, including notable Zinfandels and Cabernet Sauvignons. Tasting experiences are intimate, typically featuring five wines in a cozy setting, with knowledgeable staff guiding visitors through unique blends and rare varieties sourced from Napa and beyond. Elyse wines are primarily sold direct to consumers, with limited distribution to select restaurants and wine shops.
