Initially purchasing 100 acres, they transitioned from walnut farming to viticulture, planting their first vines in 1985 and releasing their first commercial wine in 1991. The vineyard spans approximately 20 acres, with a focus on precision farming to cultivate premium grapes, primarily Cabernet Sauvignon, along with smaller amounts of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The family emphasizes meticulous vineyard management and has evolved their winemaking techniques over the years, including the transition from American to French oak for aging.
