Gaderian

Napa, CA

Gaderian Wines, established in 2017, is co-owned by winemaker Shaina Harding and Olympic swimmer Natalie Coughlin. The winery's inception stemmed from Shaina's passion for wine, which developed while working in New York's restaurant scene. After relocating to California, she gained experience in various wineries, including HUNNICUTT, where early Gaderian wines were produced. Natalie, who has culinary interests, actively participates in the winery's operations, especially during harvest. Gaderian focuses on producing unique and affordable wines, with Chenin Blanc as their flagship varietal. They source grapes from both Napa Valley and Clarksburg, including a notable acquisition from the Henry Vineyard, which features older vines. The winery also produces a range of wines, including Rosé, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Petit Sirah, and Cabernet Sauvignon, each showcasing distinct flavor profiles and characteristics. Visitors can taste Gaderian wines at The Wine Thief in downtown Napa, where a friendly atmosphere allows for walk-in tastings or private appointments. The winery's label, featuring a jackelope, symbolizes the gathering spirit of wine, emphasizing its role in bringing people together.
