Goosecross Cellars, situated near Yountville, was established in 1985 by David and Colleen Topper along with winemaker Geoff Gorsuch and his wife Karen. The winery changed ownership in 2013 when it was sold to Golden Equity Investments, and in 2021, Christi Coors Ficeli, a descendant of Adolph Coors, and her husband David acquired it. Christi has a background in the beer industry, while David has extensive experience in wine. Originally focused on Chardonnay, Goosecross has since diversified its offerings, producing wines exclusively from Napa Valley. The winery features a modern tasting room that opened in 2015, providing a welcoming atmosphere with scenic vineyard views.
