Guarachi Family Wines, established in 2007 by Alex Guarachi, is located in Napa Valley and Sonoma County. The winery began by sourcing grapes from prestigious vineyards, including Beckstoffer’s Las Piedras and Gap’s Crown. In 2013, Guarachi purchased Sun Chase Vineyard in Sonoma, followed by Meadowrock Vineyard in Atlas Peak in 2014. Meadowrock spans 50 acres, with 29 acres planted primarily to Cabernet Sauvignon, and is characterized by its high elevation and long growing season. The winery's winemaker, Julian Gonzales, has been with Guarachi since its inception and is known for his meticulous vineyard management. Guarachi Family Wines produces a range of varietals, including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon, with a focus on balance and complexity. Their wines have garnered recognition, including a feature in Robb Report for their Pinot Noir. Visitors can expect a personalized tasting experience, with wines that reflect the unique terroir of their vineyards. Guarachi Family Wines also sells grapes to select producers and has expanded its distribution internationally. For more information, visit their website.
