Gustavo Wine is managed by experienced Napa winemaker Gustavo Brambila, located in the Oxbow District of Napa, near the Napa Wine Train and the Culinary Institute of America. Originally part of a winery collective, the tasting room now focuses on Gustavo's wines, with a separate space for Encanto Vineyards. Gustavo, who has over 40 years of winemaking experience, began his career at Beaulieu Vineyard and later worked with renowned figures like Mike Grgich at Chateau Montelena and Grgich Hills. Gustavo's winemaking philosophy emphasizes balance and food-friendliness, creating wines that reflect the unique characteristics of each vintage. He produces around 2,500 cases annually, sourcing grapes from carefully selected vineyards managed by his son, Brendan. His wines are known for their acidity and integration of tannins, avoiding high alcohol levels. Visitors to the tasting room can enjoy a selection of wines, including unique Chardonnays and Cabernet Sauvignons, often paired with art displays. Tastings are reasonably priced, and guests can book appointments for a more in-depth experience. Gustavo Wine offers a welcoming atmosphere for wine enthusiasts in the vibrant Napa area.
