INNOVATUS Wines, located in Napa Valley, was founded by Cecil Park, who transitioned from a career in biotechnology to winemaking after discovering her passion for wine in California. With a degree in Viticulture and Enology from U.C. Davis, she gained experience working with notable winemakers and later started her own wine consulting business, Winefornia. INNOVATUS, which means "renewal" in Latin, reflects both Cecil's personal journey and the innovative spirit of Napa Valley. The winery produces a range of wines, including a Viognier, Pinot Noir, and a unique Napa Valley Cuvée blending Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Cabernet Franc. Cecil emphasizes elegance and balance in her wines, often using minimal extraction techniques. INNOVATUS wines are crafted at The Caves at Soda Canyon, a premium underground winery that provides a scenic and intimate tasting experience. Cecil typically hosts private tastings, fostering connections between guests and the wines. The winery has a modest production of over 2,000 cases annually, and its wines are available at select restaurants in San Francisco, including those owned by her former business partner, Jeannie Kim.
