Jean Edwards Cellars, established in 2004 by Karen and John Troisi, is located in Napa Valley, California. The winery's name combines their middle names, Jean and Edwards. Originally from New Jersey, the couple worked at Unilever before retiring in 2012. Their passion for wine began during their frequent visits to Napa, where they dreamed of creating their own wine brand. Kian Tavakoli has been their winemaker since the beginning, with initial production at Crushpad in San Francisco and now at a local winery near Napa. Jean Edwards Cellars produces a variety of wines, including Sauvignon Blanc from the Dalla Gasperina Vineyard and a range of red wines such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Sirah. Their wines are characterized by a balance of flavors, with notable examples being the 2022 Sauvignon Blanc and the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon. The winery has evolved its tasting room locations, moving to its current site in the Vichy Springs area of Napa in 2021, which is part of a vibrant arts district. The tasting experience is designed to be inviting, reflecting the couple's commitment to hospitality and quality wine.
