In 2012, Julien and partners acquired a 12-acre property in Coombsville, now known as Covert Estate, which features a wine cave completed in 2015. Julien released his first wine in Napa in 2007, a rosé that set a high standard for the style in California. His wines are characterized by a French influence, emphasizing freshness and complexity. The winery produces a range of wines, including Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon, with a focus on sourcing high-quality fruit from established vineyard relationships.
