Keever Vineyards is situated in the foothills of the Mayacamas mountains, near Yountville, California. Founded by Bill and Olga Keever, the winery emerged from their passion for wine, which deepened during their time in Europe. After returning to Napa Valley in 1999, they established their vineyard on a former horse ranch, with the winery and tasting room opening in 2006. The estate spans 21 acres, with 6.5 acres dedicated to vineyards primarily planted with Cabernet Sauvignon and a small amount of Malbec. The winemaker, Celia Welch, has crafted every vintage since 2002, supported by day-to-day winemaker Jess McDowell. The winery emphasizes a gentle extraction process to achieve silky tannins and complex flavors. Visitors to Keever Vineyards can expect a personalized tasting experience often hosted by family members, featuring expansive valley views and a tour of the state-of-the-art winery facilities. The tasting includes a selection of their wines, such as Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon, showcasing the quality and character of their vineyard's unique terroir.
