Kelleher Family Vineyard, owned by Don and Donna Kelleher, is located in Napa Valley, specifically in the Oakville Appellation. The Kellehers also operate Brix Restaurant, which opened in 1996 and is known for its extensive wine list and long-standing presence in the area. The restaurant features a 10-acre vineyard, Brix Vineyard, planted in 1995, which produces grapes for both Kelleher wines and local wineries. The Kellehers began producing their own wines in response to customer interest, with their first estate wine released from the 2002 vintage. The vineyard is entirely planted with Cabernet Sauvignon and employs updated farming techniques to enhance wine quality. Their winemaking was initially led by Craig Becker, who tragically passed away in 2024. Kelleher wines are characterized by extended bottle aging, often released four to five years after harvest. The winery produces a range of wines, including a Rosé of Pinot Noir and a Sauvignon Blanc, both noted for their vibrant flavors and balanced acidity. Visitors can experience the vineyard and restaurant, which also hosts events and weddings, contributing to its community engagement and culinary offerings.
