Lail Vineyards

Lail Vineyards, established by Robin Lail and her family, is located in Napa Valley and has deep historical ties to the region's winemaking heritage. Robin’s lineage includes Gustave Niebaum, founder of Inglenook Winery, and her father, John Daniel, Jr., who significantly contributed to Napa's wine reputation. Robin has an extensive background in the industry, co-founding notable wineries and participating in various wine organizations. The winery produces a range of wines, including the J. Daniel Cuvée and the Blueprint red wine, with the first vintage released in 1995. Lail Vineyards is known for its Sauvignon Blanc, with two distinct styles: the Blueprint and Georgia, each showcasing unique characteristics influenced by different aging processes. The winery's estate vineyards, Totem and Mole Hill, are sustainably farmed and contribute to the quality of their wines. Visitors can expect a refined tasting experience, often highlighting the elegance and balance of Lail's wines, which are designed for both immediate enjoyment and aging potential. The winemaking team, led by Philippe Melka, emphasizes a harmonious blend of acidity and flavor, making Lail Vineyards a noteworthy destination in Napa Valley.
