Laird Family Estate is situated near Highway 29 and Oak Knoll Road in Napa Valley. Founded by Ken Laird in 1998, the winery was originally designed for Dominus Estate but was adapted for Laird's use. It has grown to become one of Napa Valley's largest custom crush facilities, hosting over 60 small wineries. Laird Family Estate is notable for its extensive vineyard holdings, managing over 2,200 acres across Napa and Sonoma, and supplying grapes to more than 40 wineries. The tasting room, recently expanded, offers a spacious setting with views of the vineyards. Visitors can enjoy a variety of tasting options without needing an appointment, including a standard tasting and a Reds Only option. The wines are crafted with a focus on quality and accessibility, featuring a range of varietals such as Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Pinot Noir. The estate is family-run, with Ken and Gail's children involved in operations, enhancing the winery's community-oriented atmosphere. The winery is also popular among cyclists, given its location near the Napa Valley Vine Trail.
