MadoroM Vineyards, located in Napa Valley along the southern Silverado Trail, was established in 2000 by Napa native Andy Amador, his wife Marissa, and winemaker Mike Blom. The winery's name creatively combines letters from the Amador family name with an "M" for Mike. Andy, who has deep roots in the valley, owns three vineyards, including the 188-acre Pope Valley Ranch, primarily planted with red grape varieties. The winery's estate spans 10 acres, featuring a renovated building with unique design elements, including a cave-like tunnel connecting two barrel rooms. Winemaker Mike Blom, who has over two decades of experience, has been with MadoroM since its inception, producing a range of wines that showcase both estate and select purchased grapes. MadoroM's wine offerings include a well-balanced Camouflage Rosé of Merlot, a rich 2016 Merlot, and a fruit-forward 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon, all noted for their distinct flavors and aging potential. The winery produces around 4,000 cases annually, primarily sold direct to consumers and selectively distributed. Additionally, the Amadors are active in philanthropy through the MadoroM Foundation, supporting various charitable causes.
