Majuscule Wine is a Napa Valley winery founded in 2018 by Greg, the winemaker, and his husband Jeff, following a chance meeting with friends in St. Helena. Initially, Alex and Juanita were co-owners, but they have since exited the partnership, leaving Greg and Jeff as the sole owners. Greg, who also runs a structural engineering firm in Arizona, began his winemaking journey later in life, inspired by visits to French wineries during a mission trip. He gained experience through internships in the Napa Valley, which helped him establish valuable industry connections. Majuscule focuses on crafting wines from single vineyard sites, emphasizing balance and elegance. Their offerings include a range of varietals, such as Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot, all showcasing unique characteristics reflective of their mountain terroir. The winery sells its wines directly, primarily targeting markets in Napa Valley and Scottsdale, Arizona. Visitors can enjoy private tastings and winemaker dinners, often hosted in collaboration with friends. Majuscule Wine is also part of the Mia Carta Wine Lounge in downtown Napa, which features several boutique wineries, providing a vibrant tasting experience for guests.
