Marciano Estate is a distinguished winery located on a 60-acre property in the Mayacamas mountains, southwest of St. Helena, Napa Valley. The estate has a rich history, originally owned by the Bourn Family from 1872 until the late 1950s, and later serving as a Catholic retreat center under the Christian Brothers. In 2006, Maurice Marciano, a co-founder of Guess Inc. and an art collector, acquired the estate and transformed it into a notable winery. The estate focuses on producing wines exclusively from its own vineyards, which now encompass ten acres dedicated to premium Bordeaux varietals, alongside olive tree cultivation for high-quality olive oil. The winery, designed by architect Howard Backen, features modern facilities tailored to the estate's unique terroir. Marciano Estate produces around 2,000 cases annually, with a strong emphasis on detail in both vineyard management and winemaking. The winery's offerings include a range of wines, notably a Sauvignon Blanc and several red blends, showcasing the estate's commitment to quality and craftsmanship. Visitors can expect a sophisticated tasting experience reflective of the estate's historical and cultural significance.
