Moone-Tsai Wine, established in 2006, is a winery located in Napa Valley, founded by Larry and MaryAnne Tsai. Initially a partnership that included Mike Moone, the Tsais later bought out Moone, who had a notable career in the wine industry, including leadership roles at Beringer Wine Estates and Luna Vineyards. Moone-Tsai specializes in Cabernet Sauvignon, with their flagship wine being Cor Leonis, alongside a Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, a red hillside blend, and a Chardonnay. The wines are crafted by renowned winemaker Philippe Melka, who sources grapes from prestigious vineyards like To Kalon and Pritchard Hill. Moone-Tsai aims to create wines that balance power with elegance and complexity. Tasting experiences are hosted at Brasswood Winery, where visitors can enjoy various tasting options, including food pairings from the on-site Brasswood Bar + Kitchen, known for its high-quality cuisine. As of late summer 2024, Moone-Tsai will also be featured at Vintner's Collective, a respected tasting room in Napa showcasing select local wines.
