Mowe Napa Valley

St Helena, CA

Mowe Napa Valley, established in 2022 by Dustin and Renee Mowe, is located in St. Helena, Napa Valley. The couple, originally from Shasta County, purchased a property with a small vineyard previously owned by Stephen and Sue Parry, which had been supplying grapes to Spottswoode. The Mowe's vineyard, planted entirely with Cabernet Sauvignon, underwent management updates after their acquisition, including reduced irrigation and hiring Gallegos Vineyard Management. Dustin, who has extensive experience in the wine industry as the President of PortoCork, and Renee, both passionate wine collectors, aimed to create their own label. They produce two wines: a Sauvignon Blanc sourced from a dry-farmed vineyard in Coombsville and a Cabernet Sauvignon. Their winemaker, Maayan Koschitzky, crafts the Sauvignon Blanc, while Matt Sands produces their Cabernet Sauvignon. Mowe Napa Valley focuses on elegant, terroir-driven wines, emphasizing balance and finesse rather than opulence. The winery produces around 200 cases of Cabernet Sauvignon and 100 cases of Sauvignon Blanc annually, with tastings available by appointment, often hosted by the Mowes themselves.
