Owned by Trinchero Family Estates since 2006, Napa Cellars has a rich history, having undergone six ownership changes and three name alterations since its inception. The winery was originally established as Napa Wine Cellars in 1972, with the physical structure completed in 1976. Napa Cellars focuses exclusively on wines made from Napa Valley grapes, offering a diverse range categorized into the Classic Collection, V Collection, and Winemaker Series. The tasting room, housed in a geodesic dome that once served as a barrel room, provides a casual and relaxed tasting experience. Visitors can enjoy a variety of wines, particularly reds, with their Cabernet Sauvignon offerings being notably popular and reasonably priced for the region. The winery sources grapes from several vineyards, including Vista Montone, Main Street, and Salvador, and has established long-term relationships with other vineyards in Napa Valley.
