Napa De Oro

St Helena, CA

Napa de Oro, established in 2016, is a winery located in Coombsville, Napa Valley, founded by Noe and Caroline Taojo, Andreas Taojo, and attorney Abe Marapao. Initially advised by winemaker Rudy Zuidema, the founders began by sourcing grapes from premium vineyards while renting winemaking space, later acquiring a small property with Cabernet Sauvignon vines. The winery produces a range of wines, including a flagship Cabernet Sauvignon named AU 79, which showcases a blend of grapes from their estate and other vineyards. The winemaking is led by Rudy Zuidema, who has extensive experience in the Napa Valley, having worked at several notable wineries. Napa de Oro's wine portfolio includes a Rosé, Sauvignon Blanc, and a Merlot blend named after Caroline Taojo, all characterized by balance and complexity. In 2021, Napa de Oro took over the former Tudal Winery property, which has a rich history dating back to the 1970s. The winery offers tastings by appointment and is undergoing significant upgrades. Their wines are selectively distributed in the Philippines and available through their website.
