Established in 1968, the Neal family has a long history in Napa Valley, with founder Mark Neal taking over vineyard management after his father's passing in 1994. The family is recognized for its commitment to organic farming, being the largest organic farming operation in Napa Valley, and recently achieving Regenerative Organic Certified status. The winery began producing its own wines in 1997, focusing primarily on Cabernet Sauvignon and other red varieties.
