The Adelaide Hills, a winding maze of rolling peaks and misty gullies, are home to small communities, secluded farmhouses, artisan craftsmen and the Nepenthe vineyards. The diverse landscape creates a variety of microclimates where orchards, farms and wineries take on the challenge of taming the land and now we are ready to share it with the world. The diversity of the Adelaide Hills creates unique microclimates that enable an array of grape varieties to thrive, resulting in a multitude of different wine styles. We adopt a minimal intervention mentality, believing good wine is made in the vineyard. We source from a variety of sites throughout the region to achieve complexity and maintain quality in our wines. Never one to rest on our laurels we are constantly exploring new vineyards and techniques to capture the essence of our micro climates and varieties. We’re proud of our regional heritage as producers of some of Australia’s most celebrated wines and it’s no surprise Nepenthe continues to capture the best of The Hills regional qualities.
