Padis Vineyards, established by Steve and Judy Padis, is located in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley. The couple, originally from the East Bay, transitioned from a successful jewelry business to winemaking after purchasing 15 acres of land in 2004. Their first wine was produced in 2008, with winemaker Robert Foley crafting their wines since the beginning. Padis Vineyards focuses on robust wines, including a notable Chardonnay sourced from Carneros and various Cabernet Sauvignon vintages, showcasing rich fruit flavors and complex aromas. The winery also produces a Kosher Cabernet Sauvignon called Brilliance, made at Hagafen Cellars. Visitors can enjoy tastings at their downtown Napa jewelry store, which features a tasting salon offering older vintages, often over ten years old. The venue is designed for a relaxed experience, allowing guests to shop for jewelry while sampling wines. Additionally, Padis Vineyards hosts events in their scenic wine cave, contributing to local charities, including significant donations to the V Foundation for cancer research.
