PEJU Napa Valley is a family-owned winery situated on the east side of Highway 29, between Oakville and Rutherford. Founded in 1983 by Tony and Herta Peju, the winery has a rich history, with ownership now held by their daughters, Lisa and Ariana, as of early 2023. The winery spans over 500 acres across five properties in Napa Valley, all of which are organically farmed. PEJU is known for its diverse wine portfolio, including sparkling wines, limited production offerings, and single varietal wines, with a focus on customer appeal. The winery features a distinctive architectural design, highlighted by a copper roof and unique landscaping, including a row of sycamore trees. Tasting experiences are by appointment and include various options such as the Estate sit-down tasting and the Rutherford Dust Experience. Culinary offerings are also integral, with a full-time chef providing food pairings. Visitors can enjoy art exhibits and a self-guided tour of the grounds, which include gardens and sculptures.
