St. Supéry Estate Vineyards & Winery, located in Rutherford, Napa Valley, was established by the Skalli Family, whose winemaking roots date back to the 1920s in Algeria. The winery opened in 1989, following the purchase of the Dollarhide Ranch in 1982 and the Rutherford Estate in 1985. The Rutherford property has a rich history, originally acquired by the Atkinson brothers in 1881, and later purchased by Edward St. Supéry in 1904. In 2015, the Skalli family sold the winery to Chanel Inc., which also owns several prestigious Bordeaux wineries. St. Supéry is situated along Highway 29, a notable area for wine tourism, and features a long tree-lined driveway leading to its hospitality center. The winery primarily sources grapes from its 1,500-acre Dollarhide Ranch, known for its Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and other varietals. St. Supéry produces a range of wines, including estate blends and varietal-specific offerings, all made from estate-grown grapes. Visitors can enjoy a tasting experience that highlights the winery's commitment to quality, with a focus on food pairings and a unique edible landscape designed by Topher Delaney.
