Stag's Leap Wine Cellars, established in 1972 by Warren Winiarski, is located in the renowned Stags Leap District of Napa Valley. The winery gained international acclaim when its S.L.V. Cabernet Sauvignon was awarded the best Cabernet at the 1976 Judgment of Paris tasting. Originally a 44-acre parcel, the winery has evolved under Winiarski's vision, focusing on producing high-quality Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. In May 2023, the winery was acquired by Marchesi Antinori, which also owns Antinori Napa Valley. The winery features a modern hospitality center, opened in 2014, offering stunning views of the Fay Vineyard and the surrounding landscape. Visitors can enjoy two tasting experiences and private tours by appointment. The estate's wine cave, one of the largest in Napa Valley, was drilled through granite and symbolizes the aging of wine. Stag's Leap Wine Cellars continues to produce exceptional wines, including Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, alongside its renowned reds. The winery maintains a commitment to quality, ensuring its legacy as a producer of world-class wines endures.
