Titus Vineyards is a family-owned winery located just north of Deer Park Road in Napa Valley, with a history dating back to its purchase by Lee and Ruth Titus in 1968. The estate encompasses 50 acres, with 40 acres planted to vineyards, including historic vines dating back to the 1880s. The winery has a long-standing relationship with notable Napa Valley producers, having sold grapes to Charles Krug since the mid-1940s. The vineyard is situated on the valley floor near Glass Mountain, bordered by a peach orchard and the Napa River. The family manages the vineyard themselves, ensuring quality control, with two of their four sons, Eric and Phillip, overseeing operations. Titus Vineyards released its first commercial vintage in 1990, focusing on varietal red wines that are known for their approachability and rich flavors. The winery recently completed a 10,000 square foot facility, incorporating sustainable practices with solar panels. Visitors can enjoy a personalized wine club experience, and the wines are competitively priced for Napa Valley. Titus Vineyards also produces a limited olive oil and is recognized for its historical wind fan, a unique feature of the property.
