Tres Perlas Wines, previously known as Renteria Wines, is a family-owned winery located in the Carneros region of Napa Valley. Established by Salvador Renteria and his family in 1997, the winery has roots in Salvador's journey from Jalisco, Mexico, to Napa Valley, where he initially worked in vineyard management. The Renteria family operates one of the largest vineyard management companies in the area, overseeing over 2,200 acres across 12 sub-appellations. The winery's primary estate, Brown Ranch, spans nearly 30 acres and features Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The Renterias purchased this property in 2012, revitalizing existing vines affected by disease through innovative management techniques. They produce a range of wines, including a recently introduced Cabernet Sauvignon from the Renteria 360 Vineyard in Oakville. Tres Perlas emphasizes a balanced, food-friendly wine style, with Kirk Venge as the current winemaker. The winery offers a tasting experience that reflects its commitment to quality, showcasing wines like the Tres Perlas Daughters Rosé and various Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs. The winery is also a member of the Mexican-American Vintners Association, promoting diversity in the wine industry.
