Trinitas Cellars, established in 2002 by Tim and Steph Busch, is located in Napa Valley, California. Tim Busch, originally from Michigan, has a rich family history in the grocery business, co-founding Busch's Fresh Food Market, the largest independent grocery chain in Michigan. Alongside his legal and hospitality ventures, Tim is involved in various philanthropic efforts, including education initiatives. The winery is currently led by their son, Garrett Busch, who continues the family legacy. Trinitas Cellars produces a diverse range of reasonably priced wines, sourcing grapes from various Northern California vineyards, including a small estate vineyard on the Meritage Resort property. The winery offers a unique visitor experience with a “wine walk” among the vines and tastings that include both current releases and older vintages. Trinitas is known for its fruit-forward wines, including a selection of Chardonnays and red blends. Their flagship wine, the Meritage, showcases a blend of Bordeaux varietals. The tasting room features a variety of wines, allowing visitors to explore both Napa Valley and non-Napa wines, enhancing the overall tasting experience.
