Vice Versa Wines

St Helena, CA

Vice Versa Wine, located in Calistoga, Napa Valley, was founded by Patrice Breton, a Canadian entrepreneur with a deep passion for wine. After co-founding a successful tech company, he shifted his focus to wine, amassing an impressive collection, including a notable vertical of Château d’Yquem. In 2011, he married Samantha, who now assists in managing the winery. The couple emphasizes producing age-worthy, balanced Cabernet Sauvignon wines sourced from premier Napa Valley vineyards, particularly utilizing heritage sites from Andy Beckstoffer. In 2019, they acquired a 10.94-acre property near Highway 128, where they built a state-of-the-art winery, completed in 2025. The facility includes a 5,000 square foot cave and is designed for optimal winemaking control. The estate features approximately 5 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon and a rare Lagrein variety. Vice Versa wines are known for their purity of fruit and elegance, with a focus on showcasing Napa's terroir. The winery offers a unique visitor experience, including tastings in a beautifully designed cave space. Overall, Vice Versa Wine represents a blend of passion, innovation, and commitment to quality in Napa Valley winemaking.
